Winston Salem Friends Meeting may be the place for you. We are a group of individuals learning, and listening to God's voice. We use queries, or questions, to discern the leading of the Spirit in our lives.
Traditional Quaker beliefs:
▪ The light of God is in everyone.
▪ Each individual has worth, dignity, freedom, and responsibility before God.
▪ Worship involves a direct, inward, personal encounter with God and does not require ritual or ceremony.
▪ Christian love and goodwill as a way of life make hatred and violence impossible.
▪ Love and concern for suffering must find expression in humanitarian service and social justice.
